How to Get Land Registration (Tabo) Approval for Absence of Debts
The resident will verify with customer service that there is no outstanding water payment in his name. In the event of an outstanding balance it should be paid by cash or credit card. The resident is welcome to come to customer service for approval. Land registration approval will be handed over only to the property holder or through power of attorney.
For this, you must put in a written request including a copy of your ID and fax it to 08-975-0936. In the event that there is no outstanding balance, the authorization will be sent to the fax number that is specified on the application.
How to Transfer Property
After the change in consumer is made and after closing the account and receiving approval of not having debt from Mei Modiin, property can be transferred.
To do so, come to the municipality with the sales contract and approval of absence of debt in order to complete the transfer of the property to another name.
When Selling a Property
Please fill in the details of the current consumer together with a declaration of the meter reading and the details of the new consumer, attach the sales contract and a copy of both sides of the IDs / printout of the Registrar of Companies / Organizations / Partnerships.
When Renting a Property
Fill in the details of the owners of the rental property and the outgoing tenant shall fill in the details of the incoming tenant and sign a declaration of the meter reading.
In the event that the renter returns the apartment to the owner - the owner will fill in the details of the tenant with a signed meter reading. There is no need to attach the rental contract. It is sufficient to bring a copy of both sides of the owner’s ID/ printout of the Registrar of Companies / Organizations / Partnerships.
In the event that the tenant passes over the apartment to the next tenant, the new tenant will fill in the details and sign the meter reading and attach a copy of the rental agreement with a copy of both sides of the owner’s ID/ printout of the Registrar of Companies / Organizations / Partnerships.
Please note: Should there be a gap of several days between the closing of the water bill and the transfer of payment, you will need to get a new permit to close the water bill. We recommend that you perform all procedures in a day or two.
